EDM Lame Srl was created in 1997 as an evolution of a small craft business by specializing the production as well as in the maintenance of band saw blades for machines saw-logs to become operational on an international scale in 2001, when the plants were transferred at the current headquarters of Magnano in Riviera (UD).

The company takes origin from the idea of Emilio Di Marco, who decided to develop the family experience gained in the field of sawmill by creating a new business that was able to meet the most common requirements for the sawmill as offer innovative solutions for cutting. First founded in 1988 as homonymous craftsmanship that performs only maintenance of belt, the Company knows its maturity in 2001, when thanks to the skill, the professionally and the deep knowledge acquired over the years, strengthens its position at the international level, establishing itself within the current highly competitive market, where EDM Lame has been able to distinguish itself by the quality of technical development of its products and by the services made available to the customers.

With awards to date, in addition to its core business, the company has begun in recent years to commercialize exclusive products with high technological content that can augment the main phases for the treatment of the blades, thus providing customer assistance through customized packages of products and services.

Nowadays EDM Lame operates with success in over 15 countries, including Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Equatorial Africa (Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon), Peru, Venezuela and Georgia through a network of subsidiaries in continuous expansion, thus exploring new markets and countries particularly receptive and interested in brand products EDM Lame® .
